Established in Feb 2011 by the Government of Bihar, BBOSE is an autonomous open learning board. It provides secondary and senior secondary education on the lines of NIOS, making it ideal for students looking for flexible local curriculum choices.

Students can choose both online and offline admission procedures. For offline registration, download the admission application from BBOSE's portal. Fill out the form manually and attach required drafts.
A Bank Draft of ₹4,000 and another Bank Draft of ₹1,000 drawn in favor of the CEO of BBOSE must be attached with the physical form and submitted to the board office.
Failed candidates of BSEB, CBSE, or other recognized boards can transfer marks of their passed subjects (max 2 subjects) using Transfer of Credit (TOC). Clear the remaining subjects through BBOSE within 2 months and save your year!
